0 weekend warmup – let’s stay young

Jules Larson reminds me of Sheryl Crow in the 90′s, which is a very good thing. Her new album Let’s Stay Young, released May 29, is bookended with some really fun, uptempo rock-n-roll that makes a fitting soundtrack for a summer weekend. Put this on your iPod miniMove (a summer MUST HAVE) and find a pool to float in.

Consider this week’s sneak peek inside the making of my new album the extended edition with cast commentary. Too much has happened this week for me to be brief! Good Monday to you all! As you know, music fans, this past weekend was Bonnaroo. This year the festival added an extremely cool feature: live streaming video for EVERY concert. All the music without the 70,000 sweaty, shirtless people and community bathrooms?!? Sign me up! Richard and I spent the majority of Saturday parked in front of the computer screen streaming concerts. Richard’s favorite was a band called Dawes. I love the 70′s California folk-rock vibe they have going on. Here’s a video for their song “Time Spent In Los Angeles”
